Lyle Albert "Bert" Glover was born on November 21, 1941 the third child born to Red and Esther Glover.  He attended school in Fairy Glen and went on to trade school to become a journeyman Tinsmith.

He married Mary Degerness in 1967 and they resided in Fairy Glen. 

Bert worked for Main Plumbling and heating for many years and worked for a few farmers before taking on the Degerness homestead quarter on his own.  He took a second job as General Manager for the Fariy Glen Coop until his retirement.

He suffered an accidental fall in 2006 which he lived with for many years.  He bacame a patient at Parkland Place in 2019 where he remained until his passing on March 27, 2025.

A Graveside Service will be announced at a late date.  Memorial contributions in memory of Bert may be directed to the Carrot River Valley Lutheran Church.
