Obituary
Rob was a "selected not expected" adoption as a baby. He developed an approach to life that was "full bore" hurried whether in writing poetry, music, speed swimming, or hockey. He won many awards & trophies. Diabetes meant a significant challenge in life since the age of 4. Rob loved the mountains & lakes especially fishing. An artistic talent often surfaced in many way--guitar, piano, banjo, photography, drums, rock landscaping and wood working. His creative ability could often be seen in his finished productions. Accepting of peoples of all ages & personalities. A genuine approach to helping others as best he could, was always his approach to life. Rob was a creative dreamer that loved babies, children & animals. He especially loved his dog of 16 years "Sasha". Mister cool & friendly generosity was often Rob. Often presenting an attitude as "take it or leave it, this is me." One just might suggest a little opinionated & stubborn--but that's what helped him to fight the diseases diabetes & "superbug" infections. Rob often came to the defence of anyone he thought was being taken advantage of & was very protective of his family & friends. Many thanks to all that made friends with him. Rob is dearly missed.
