Raymond Gordon Habberfield age 85 was born in Calgary, AB on Sept 20, 1932 to Gordon and Ruth Habberfield.
Ray passed away on May 24, 2018 peacefully at Good Shephard Villa in Prince Albert, SK.
He started working for the CP Rail at the young age of 15 and continued working till he retired in 1989.
Ray met Irene in Melfort and were married on Nov. 30, 1956.
They resided in Melfort with their daughter Darlene until they built their new home near Star City in 1978.
Ray and Irene farmed and had cattle up until 2014 and eventually moved to Prince Albert in 2016.
He is survived by his wife Irene, daughter Darlene (Dean), grandchildren Marlyn, Maureen (Randy), Michelle (Dan), 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, 2 brothers David, Bruce (Carol) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ruth and sister Grace.
Ray will be missed by everyone that knew him
