Marven met Shirley 60 years ago when he applied for a teaching position. For 8 years he crossed paths with her. Arlene worked with her at the unit office for 3 years. I was so impressed with this classy gal, her kindness and her sense of humor. Our paths continued to cross over the years moving the same time to Saskatoon. I always loved visiting with her. Shirley had maternal instincts like a Mom so caring and concerned. I miss her and cherish the memories we made. RIP dear friend.

Shirley was such a hoot to be around. I always loved going to visit her, even at 96 whenever I would see her she always had questions following up with whatever story I had told her during our last visit - she had a memory sharper than anyone I know! Shirley had a great sense of humour, I will sure miss my visits with her, but I know she was ready to go and is happily at peace, likely with an unlimited supply of scotch with the snap of her fingers!!

So sorry for your loss!! Shirley was an awesome old girl! I had lots of good visits with her, both in Kinistino and at her condo in S'toon!! She was always sharp as a tack! I know she'll be happy to be with Ray once more!! TC all!!
