Dallas was born October 31, 1969 in Melfort, Sk. He was born the second child of four children to Ron & Shirley Flaata. Dallas’s passion was always sports and he dedicated his younger years to hockey in the winter and fastball in the summer. If Dallas wasn’t at home you could find him at the tennis courts, playing shinny with his friends. He had a real zest for life and could always be counted on to pull a prank, crack a joke or just giggle for no reason. He was famous for making everyone around him laugh. After graduation Dallas began his career with the City and started building his family. The oilsands of Alberta lured him away for a short time but he soon returned to his roots as Melfort was home. His roots were bedded deep in Melfort soil where he remained until his untimely death on June 20, 2016. Dallas was taken too soon and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his children Austin (Michelle), Maddison and Jacob. Granddaughter Nina. His father Ron stepmother Julie, his siblings Dean (Denise) Tammy (Todd), Jason (Tina), Michael (Naomi). Nieces and nephews Taylor, Morgan, Darian, Kennedy and Sawyer. Dallas was predeceased by his Mother Shirley.
