Obituary
Lester was born in the Brockington district. He attended Pine Bluff School either walking, taking a horse and wagon or sleigh. He left school in grade 10.
He worked for various farmers in the area, he was a good mechanic and enjoyed carpentry.
In his early years he suffered from Rheumatic Fever and was in a wheel chair for a couple of years, he had to learn to walk again.
In 1961 he married Betty Tolofson, they moved many times including Cochin, SK, Williams Lake, Peach Land and Penticton, B.C., Lloydminster, AB. They eventually settled in the Brockington district and Melfort area.
Lester farmed for a few years and took a electronics course and was able to repair his own T.V., radios as well as his friends’. He was also the Pest Control Officer for several R.M.’s.
He moved to Parkland Place where he was able to visit his sister Clara regularly.
He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter Lynette (Don) of Calgary, AB., one son Garnett (Charmain) of Melfort, SK., his grandchildren Chase Ferner–Gingell, Kanise Hardman, Kaylee Gingell-Hardman, Khris Boyce, Mike Gingell, Jay Gingell. Six great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Betty in 1995 and his son Kelly in 2015.
