Obituary
Lawrence was born in Hanley, Sask. on October 5, 1940. He moved east of Naicam with his family in 1949. He took his schooling in the Lac Vert district. After finishing his schooling he went to work in the oil patch with his older brother Fred. He also did pipe lining for many years, he then returned to farm and bought the family farm. Lawrence had a great sense of humour and enjoyed playing tricks. He raised his nephew Jory and always helped out family and friends. He continued farming until his health started to fail. He sold the farm and moved to Melfort. He was very dedicated to his family and friends. He enjoyed coffee row and lots of visiting along with many a card game, watching hockey, going to auction sales and crop checking. Lawrence is survived by Jory (Sara) his brothers; Al (Joan), Tom (Lorna), his sisters Gloria (Roy) and Cathy. Numerous nieces, nephews and his dear friend Jean. He was predeceased by his parents John & Annie Dietz and his brother Fred.
