Elsie was born in the St. Brieux area on June 11, 1927. On April 3, 1945, Elsie married Alain Rohel to this union they were blessed with five children: Marie, Marcel, Albert, Helen, Evelyn. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Alain, her daughter Marie in 2013 and son Albert in 2018, granddaughter Elinor in 1975. Her son-in-law Joe Petit in 2013. Her parents Harry and Amelia (nee Baron). Brothers: Leo, Tony (in infancy), Floyd and Wilford. Sisters: Regina, Emma and Lena. Elsie will be missed by her three children: Marcel (Shirley) Rohel, Helen (Wayne Kruger), Evelyn (Doug Tarala), daughter-in-law Marlyane Rohel, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Two sisters: Nellie (Lucien Baldin) and Rose Martin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in memory of Elsie may be directed to the Kermaria Cemetery.
