Obituary of Lyle Stanley Brothwell

On May 26, 2022, the world lost a good man. A man who, along with his lifelong partner Lynne, raised a thriving family of four. Lyle was a man of many talents. He found solutions to problems where others couldn’t. He was not afraid to tackle any situation without prior experience. Even as adults, his four children sought his vast experience and expertise in many areas. His advice always came with a smile and a story about his many life adventures. This honest, hardworking man was born on July 9, 1935 to Horace and Hazel Brothwell of Pathlow, SK. Lyle was the ninth in a family of twelve. Raised in meager times, he learned the value of hard work to achieve his goals. Lyle was a successful entrepreneur in Melfort for many years. He is survived by his wife Lynne, his four children, Lyla, Doug, Susan and Joanne, thirteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Rest peacefully Lyle, you are missed already. A private family service will be held.
