Obituary
Lorraine Jeneva Holien was born to John and Julia Holien on May 12, 1930 in Melfort, Saskatchewan and passed away June 4, 2022 in Arborfield, Saskatchewan. She was the youngest of seven children. She married Richard Lindberg on July 1, 1950 and together they raised six children. Doris, Allan (Faye), Donna (Larry Ross), Tracy (David Procychyn), John and Gary (Cindy Burke). She worked along with Richard in the grocery stores in McKague and Hudson Bay. After Richards’s death, she married Murray Nelson and they lived in Hudson Bay until Murray’s death in 2019. Lorraine is survived by five of her children: Doris, Donna, Tracy, John and Gary. Her grandchildren: Alana Brandt; Darin, Trevor and Tracy Ross; Derek and Breana Lindberg; Travis and Kayla Procychyn and Rebecca and Brittany Lindberg. Her great grandchildren: Kylie and Konner Ross; Mason Ross; Madelyn and Elizabeth Hamoline and Mason Moshenko. Lorraine is pre-deceased by her siblings, Helen, Alfred, Oliver, Garfield Lewis and Eva, both husbands, her son Allan, her grandson Tyler Brandt, and two great grandson’s Radek and Ryder MacDougall. Lorraine loved her family and friends. She was an active member of the Royal Purple until they merged with the Elks. Murray and Lorraine loved camping and were members of the Good Sam’s RV community. Lorraine never missed morning coffee at the Pines or the Golf Course in the summer months. She loved cats, dancing and her rye and water. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.
