Sandra (Gerry) Geraldine Johnson was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully on April 5, 2023 at age 77.

She was born to Percy and Winnifred Boyton on November 8, 1945.  In 1966, she married her soulmate, Don Johnson, and this is where their story began.  Together they had 3 children: Devlin, Kurt and Wendy.

In 2006, she decided to retire and spend time with her grandchildren and her loving husband. 

Gerry loved spending time in her home especially when surrounded with family. Her love for the outdoors and being in her yard was apparent.  You could always find her sitting on the deck that overlooked a gorgeous yard filled with flowers, plants and a pond. She welcomed friends and family over as this was a place where endless hours of laughter and conversation were had. This was her haven. 

Gerry will be sadly missed though lovingly remembered by her Children: Devlin (Kathy); Kurt (Benthe) Johnson; Wendy (Sheldon) Evans; Her Grandchildren: Steffanie (Braden) McAdam; Jesse Johnson; Austin Evans; Ashlyn Evans; Her Great Grandchildren:  Nathan McAdam; Everett McAdam; and many more family members.

Gerry was predeceased by her Husband: Don Johnson; and Grandchild: Jason Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 from the Chapel of Melfort Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m..  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to N.C.H.C.F. Melfort Hospital.
