Brent passed away on December 13, 2023 at his home. Brent was born on October 29, 1955 in Kinistino to John and Doreen Paynter. Brent started his life on the farm where he lived until he was 25. He attended the Kirkton school for 2 years then finished his schooling in Kinistino.
Brent then moved to Weldon where he worked at the Co‑op lumberyard until it closed. He then worked at Gordon International in Melfort until it closed and continued his employment at John Deere in Melfort until his retirement in 2022.
In 1996, Brent moved to Kinistino where he lived the rest of his life. His neighbour’s became his second family. In retirement, Brent enjoyed visiting his past co-workers and numerous friends. Bringing them community papers, treats and small gifts.
Brent was predeceased by his parents.
Brent will be greatly missed by his brother, Larry (Celia), his nieces and nephew; Angie (Mike Harold), Tami (Darren) Taylor and Garth (Stephanie), and his great-niece/nephews, Callie Harold, Kaden and Carter Taylor and Jake Paynter.
He will also be missed by his aunts, Mary Neil, Jean (Al) Robstead, Delores Jones and Shirley Winge, numerous cousins, his community and friends.
