While visiting at Ryan's this past weekend he mentioned that Vernon had passed away. Two things stand out for me as I reflect: Vernon's strong but quiet presence in your home; and the respect you had for him. May good memories and the comfort of the Holy Spirit hold you in these days of grief and transition.
